The imprinted copyright date is 1920.
It measures 18.5 inches by 12.5 inches and is made from wood.
It is in remarkably good condition and exhibits a beautiful aged patina that is a bit darker than the photos indicate. It is suitable for use or would make a fine addition to your collection.
Known History: Acquired from an Estate Sale at a Centennial Farmstead located in Central Michigan.
Condition: There are no apparent cracks, splits, chips, or deep scratches on the surface of the board. The photo of the middle of the board shows slight scratches by the "U" in OUIJA and also by the "E" in the alphabet. The photo also shows a series of shallow indentations by the "Q" and "R". Overall condition is Very Good. It is very rare to find this type of board in this good condition.
The top and bottom veneer on the right lower corner is somewhat loose and would benefit from a regluing. There is evident "scuffing" on some of the letters and mid-border lines due to use.
Two of the photos have been intentionally lightened - one to show the maker and copyright date and the other to show possible glue residue on the back of the board. The board is slightly warped.
